Set up automatic uploads

Mediref can watch one folder on the computer and attach anything dropped into it, which suits practices whose imaging software always saves to the same place. Files turn up in Compose as attachments, the same way a printed file does. Nothing is sent automatically — you still add the patient and recipients and click Send.

Steps

1. In the desktop app, open Settings → Desktop App and click the Enable automatic uploads switch on.
2. Click Select folder to watch and choose your folder. Skip this and Mediref watches a Mediref-uploads folder on the desktop. Change folder switches it later.
3. Check a green ● Watching shows next to the folder, then drop a test file in.

Tell everyone who uses that computer that Mediref is watching the folder.
